Former Mayor Tom Hessler Endorses Carolyn Flowers for Mayor

I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of former Sierra Vista Mayor Thomas J. Hessler, someone who knows firsthand the responsibilities, challenges, and commitment that come with serving our community.

In a letter to the editor submitted to the Herald/Review on October 1, Mayor Hessler shared his support for my candidacy, reflecting on my years of service on City Council, my experience as Vice Mayor, my involvement in regional organizations, and my background as a small business owner.

One statement in particular truly humbled me:

“I contend she is among the best qualified mayoral candidates we’ve seen in recent years; maybe the best!”

Throughout my years of public service, I've worked to lead with integrity, build meaningful relationships, and make thoughtful decisions that serve the long term interests of Sierra Vista.

To have that commitment recognized by someone who has held the office of Mayor means a great deal to me.

Thank you, Mayor Hessler, for your confidence, encouragement, and continued service to our community. I am sincerely grateful for your endorsement.
